Praise the Lord!

We had the opportunity to see two people led to the Lord last night (19th)! God is good! It was so amazing to see the excitement that one of the new believers, Barry, had for the Lord. "It feels like a great stone has been lifted off me!" he said to me as I was talking with him afterward. God is truly doing great things down on State Street but I know that God can and wants to do greater things with this, His ministry. I encourage you to pray that He will "send laborers." The fields are truly "white unto harvest." Join us next Friday night and pray that the Lord will do greater works then ever before.

It was a great night. I praise the Lord He worked in the lives of these 2 people. I'm looking forward to where God will lead our society this semester.

There is nothing more greater in life than to see someone come to know the Lord, to know that it's not too late for them, to be washed with the blood and be clean like white snow. That truely is amazing and i will be praying that these two new family members will grow more and more in Him and to be able to face their "troubles" that is to come. Even if there wasn't anyone coming to know the Lord for a week- it is still a blessing to see that there are people who are willing to stop and listen or to read one of those tracks. It is sad to see people not caring, but it is great to know that we can't give up hope because one person threw a track on the ground or in the garbage. We have the Lord on our side! I'll be praying that this semester at State St. will be a blessing, not only to those who recieve a track- but also those who are giving those tracks away.

I must admit that I loved going to State street when at MBBC... and because of that I have seen God work in lives that I would have never thought possible.

We serve a wonderful God and He keeps proving that to me. I moved to Texas and became part of a church plant in Dec of 2005, our first service we had about 25 people and have maintained that, the first week we had two saved and pretty much every week after that. Our "family" went from having about 6 or 7 saved people to having over 72 saved and attending members. In the state of Texas you have to have 50 saved memebers in the main group to be reconized as a church and so we are having our Outbreak sunday on Easter. God has been so wonderful to us and we are praying for a wonderful turn out as we are going door to door in our community telling them of our church and about our God. I can't wait to see more come to know Christ.

And to think that it was State street that helped give me the boldness to do the door to door thing... our God does prepare us for the future with every lesson we learn.
